CubanVisa

Above is an example of a Cuban tourist visa (sometimes referred to as a Cuban visitors card).

The Cuban Tourist Visa card is a far simpler to fill out.  The card should be filled in with a black pen and the answers written as neat as can be and care should be taken to avoid making mistakes, as crossings out could invalidate the card and you may have to buy a new one.

  1. Insert your surname (Last name)
  2. Insert your given name (Full first name as written in your Passport)
  3. Enter your date of birth in the format described above (Day-Month-Year)
  4. Enter your passport number
  5. Enter your citizenship (USA)

Please note the answers to questions 1-5 should be the same on both halves of the form. Yes!! You have to fill out both sides.

When you go to the Immigration booth in Cuba the Cuban immigration officials will take one half upon arrival in Cuba, and you will surrender the other half upon departure. Make sure to keep your Cuban visa in a safe and secure place throughout your trip in Cuba so you have it with you when you depart the country (so don’t lose it).

The Cuban government requires any US Citizens traveling to Cuba to obtain a Cuban tourist visa prior to their arrival into Cuba. The Cuban tourist visa is valid for a single entry and allows the holder to stay in Cuba for 30 days. The Cuban tourist visa is valid for 30 days and can be renewed in Cuba for another 30 days.
